We include all fishing licensing including NOAA Federal Reef and Pelagic fish permitted, safety & fishing equipment, bait & tackle.
We recommend bringing sun protection (no spray), sunglasses (polarized if you have), hat, long sleeve, wind breaker / rain jacket, food and drinks, and any necessary medication (especially if you experience sea sickness).
The captain will provide an ice filled cooler for any beverages or food guests bring.
Alcohol is permitted for guests over the age of 21.
Glass bottles, firearms, GPS or tracking devices, and bananas are not permitted.
No, we can accomodate up to 6 people per charter.
We accept multiple forms of payment including credit or debit card via Square, cash, check, Venmo and Zelle.
Yes. A $200 deposit will be required at the time of booking.
Chartering is similar to the service industry with a recommended standard gratuity of 20%.
Bad weather is at the captains direction. Clients will never be put in dangerous weather conditions. Captain John frequently and diligently checks the weather. Charters do not need to be cancelled for a rainstorm. We will coordinate with you if the charter needs to be rescheduled due to weather.
We can accomodate pick up at multiple locations from Boca Grande, Englewood, Placida, and Venice, FL. Our most common pick up location is from Stump Pass Marina as it has a restaurant and bar to enjoy after your charter while Captain John cleans your catches of the day.
Charters that are canceled within 72 hours of the scheduled trip will lose their deposit. If canceled more than 72 hours prior to trip, deposit may be applied to another date.
